Private Clinic Setup 02

Project 02

Private Clinic Setup

A comprehensive end-to-end infrastructure project for a private medical clinic in Kazakhstan — covering digital systems, operational workflows, patient experience, and the physical environment from concept through launch.

A newly licensed private medical practice in Almaty faced the challenge of launching from zero with no existing digital or operational infrastructure. The founders needed everything: a patient-facing booking system, internal clinical records management, staff workflows, payment processing, compliance documentation, and a physical space layout — all delivered simultaneously under a hard opening deadline.

I led the infrastructure design across three parallel tracks: digital, operational, and physical. On the digital side, I architected a custom patient portal integrated with local payment gateways and Kazakhstan's national health registry APIs. Operationally, I mapped every patient touchpoint — from first contact to discharge — and built the corresponding tools and SOPs. For the physical space, I collaborated with the interior team to ensure the layout served the clinical workflow.

The clinic launched with a fully integrated digital ecosystem: online appointment scheduling, automated SMS confirmations, a clinical notes system, and a real-time staff scheduling dashboard. Custom reporting gave the clinic director visibility into capacity and revenue from day one. All systems were localized for Kazakh and Russian language, and compliant with local healthcare data regulations.

The clinic opened on schedule with zero critical operational gaps. Patient booking adoption reached 70% digital within the first three weeks. The operational systems reduced administrative overhead by an estimated 40% compared to comparable manual setups. The clinic director cited the infrastructure as a primary reason for their accelerated path to profitability in the first quarter.
